“Latin rhythms play from the speakers. “What is love if it’s not with you”. I sit and hum to myself. The leg itself sways to the rhythm of the samba. I look at the photo and remember one of the hottest days last summer. July 31st. The weather app showed me a clear sky all day long. The sun beat down mercilessly. I started the car, set the satnav, and drove to Glasgow. I had to turn on the air conditioning. I parked in the narrow street and waited for Elke & Sam. We were driving to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park area. Scottish weather likes to play tricks sometimes and I love it for that! Gray clouds greeted us on the spot. When we climbed a few hundred meters it started to rain. We heard thunder in the distance. Next one. Light rain turned to a storm. People started coming down from the mountains. A few have just started climbing. All the time in my head I was hearing “Remember when the thunder in the mountains you have to go down, do not look for shelter under a tree ...”. We took a few more photos and slowly, soaked, we started to go back to the car.
