Georgia already had a wedding dress bought for her special day. However, after a visit to our boutique she fell in love with one of our gowns and to our surprise it ended up being the gown that she walked down the aisle in!

Tell me about your engagement? 

We got engaged at Cameron house hotel, surprise magical proposal planned by Gregg in April 2017.

Did you have a theme for your wedding?

Our theme for the wedding was very glamorous, light and golden tones. Our bridesmaids were ivory and also our decor with touches of champagne gold. A very romantic feel to it. Turnberry has been a special place to us from childhood as we often visit with family. We got married in the famous Donald J Trump ball room.

You came to us after you had already purchased a dress elsewhere, did you always plan to have two wedding dresses?

The dress I found from Mirka was extremely unusual; I had already planned to wear the dress that my mother had bought me which I did love, however my Mirka bridal dress blew it out the water.

How did you decide which dress you’ll wear walking down the aisle?

The feathers were outstanding and I knew that this dress would give such an impact walking down the isle in such a beautiful setting.

Can you tell me more about your experience at Mirka Bridal Couture?

The detailing and quality of my dress was the best I have ever seen and the service from start to finish was special.
