How would you describe your Mirka Bridal Couture experience finding your dream wedding dress? 

My journey with Mirka Bridal Couture was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was captivated from my first visit, so much so I cancelled all other wedding dress shop bookings because I knew in my heart I was in the right place. 

Can you tell us a bit about your dress? What did you think of the custom detachable sleeves you added?

My dream dress was designed by Mirka by listening to my preferences and incorporating different parts of different dresses to make a unique dress just perfect in every way for me. One of the biggest issues for a bride shopping for her perfect dress is finding a gown you love but something just isn't quite perfect so Mirka’s skills at altering a design to make it perfect is just a dream come true.

I told Mirka I had an idea of being able to change my dress throughout the day but at the same time felt sad at the thought of not wearing my dream dress all day, well Mirka solved my dilemma by designing my full fitted sleeves as detachable!! Who would have thought this was possible? 

This unique feature was a huge talking point on the day and I had so much fun removing the sleeves while dancing during our high energy sax hour this made for some amazing photos. 

At what moment did you realise you had found your dream wedding dress at Mirka Bridal Couture?

I knew at my first appointment with Mirka my dream dress was in the making. Mirka sketched the design and gave me samples of the materials chosen to take home It almost didn't feel real. 

How was your experience with the made-to-measure and custom bridal dress process at Mirka Bridal Couture?

I went back to visit Mirka for fittings while my dress was being made to ensure it was the perfect fit, watching the dress come together was an amazing experience I couldn't wait for each appointment to see the progress I was blown away seeing the sketch from the first day come to life. 

How did you feel in your wedding dress on your special day, and how did it complement your Scottish wedding theme?

I feel so fortunate that Mirka Bridal Couture was my first stop in searching for my perfect dress as I hadn't even imagined this being the style I would choose but my dress made me feel incredible on the day.

I spent my big day feeling so confident and extremely happy with my choice wishing I could make the day longer so I didn't have to take it off yet! 

Tell us more about your wedding day at your chosen venue in Scotland. What was your biggest inspiration for the celebration?

My big day was perfect from start to Finish. We got married at a converted barn over looking Loch Tay right in the heart heart of the Scottish Hills, the scenic backdrop was breathtaking, the perfect venue for a laid back fun wedding. Getting our friends and family together at this stunning location to celebrate and party was just the day we had dreamed of, the sun shone brightly over the water while we danced and celebrated our marriage my dress fitted the rustic Scottish vibe perfectly. 

What is your favourite picture from your wedding day and why is this image so special to you?

The breathtaking scenery the outfits and our amazing photographers made for some absolutely amazing photos, we are still struggling to choose a favourite!

My advice to brides searching for that perfect dress is to go visit Mirka Bridal Couture and see for yourself what she can offer, the shop is beautiful and Mirka is one in a million who can make your dreams come true.
